Are NUVA inks REACH compliant?
We will be launching a REACH-compliant line of inks in Fall 2022.  
What are the ingredients of NUVA inks?

NUVA inks are made from Organic Powdered Pigments, Water, Glycerin, Witch Hazel, and Ethanol.

Does NUVA test its products on animals?

NUVA absolutely does not test any products on animals. All of our products are vegan and cruelty-free.

Where are NUVA pigments made?

All NUVA products are made in California, U.S.A.

What is the difference between NUVA pigments and regular tattoo ink?

While similar to tattoo inks, NUVA pigments are specifically designed for application in the PMU industry through years of research and
testing to arrive at an optimal blend that allows for perfect color fade.



How are NUVA pigments applied to the skin?

NUVA pigments are applied to the skin using any standard tattoo machine or microblade. NUVA pigments should only be used by
trained professionals in the PMU industry.  

How long do NUVA inks last in the skin? Is it permanent?

While each client is different, NUVA inks typically last between 2-3 years on average. Clients will often return for a ‘touch-up’
at some point within that time span.

Where should NUVA inks be stored?

You can store NUVA inks in any normal indoor environment.

Does NUVA ink expire?

NUVA inks have a shelf life of 3 years if a bottle is unopened. Once a bottle is opened, the ink will have a shelf life of 1 year.

Can NUVA pigments be mixed?

Yes, you can mix different NUVA colors to find an optimal tone. We recommend you do not mix more than 2-3 colors in order to maintain proper consistency for application. Please keep in mind that we have designed our catalogue to offer a comprehensive range of colors, making mixing not necessary in most cases.  



Where can I buy NUVA pigments?

How do I pay if I purchase from your online store?

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

How long does shipping take if I order from your online store?

We offer three different shipping options, which will vary in price and estimated delivery date.
Please refer to the instructions on checkout to see the options available.

Do you have a return policy?

Yes, we have a 14-day return policy on our products. In order for products to qualify for return, they must be not be opened or damaged.
If a shipment is returned to Nuva Colors, we cannot refund shipping fees and you will be responsible for any costs to resend the shipment.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship anywhere in the world. Please note that shipping costs vary substantially across countries, so be sure to check the shipping estimate prior to making your order. 

What about international customs?

Most international orders from our website are shipped from our U.S. facility.
You will be responsible to pay for any import duties and taxes incurred.

What do I do if I received products that were damaged or incorrect?

Please contact us right away by email (support@nuvacolors.com) and include a photo of the damaged products. If you received incorrect items, please email us a list of items that were sent incorrectly and we will fix the order right away.

Can I make changes to order already placed?

As long as your order has not been sent, you can change or cancel your order.
